There are many categories of quests in Wuthering Wave: Main Quest, Tutorial Quests, Companion Stories, Exploration Quests, Daily Quests, and Side Quests. This guide will list the Side Quests. If we're missing some quests, feel free to comment in the comment section below.

A Free Meal? I

Talk to Jovial Patroller in the Distribution Center to start A Free Meal I Side Quest. In this quest, you need to activate 3 mechanisms by completing certain puzzles.

For the first mechanism, all you need to do is complete the Signals Console puzzle. Then, some enemies will spawn so you have to defeat them.

For the second mechanism, find 2 sensing modules and insert them into the missing slots. Both of them will be near the slot so you don't have to search far.

The third mechanism is the hardest one because the Magnetic Cube puzzle could be confusing if you don't know how to complete it. There are 3 Magnetic Cubes here, and each of them uses a different route so you don't have to worry about whether the plate will disturb each other. Refer to the images above for the solution for each Magnetic Cube.

A Free Meal? II

After completing the first part, change your in-game time to the next day and this quest will automatically appear on your Quest Menu. Follow the navigation to reach Minghu near the Distribution Center.

There are a combination of puzzles and battles in this quest. For the first puzzle, you need to guide "Minghu" to attack the Magnetic Cube in the right direction. It's Attack right > Attack forwards > Attack forwards.

After a lot of talking and walking, you will encounter another puzzle: Encryption Block. Use the Levitator to grab the Key Repeaters and place them on the right Encryption Blocks with the right rotation. Look at the image above for the solution.

A Quest of Wits - I

You can get this quest in an underground facility under Wenye Beach. From the Beacon there, walk a bit towards south and you will find a hole leading to the underground facility. Go in there and find Quiz and Quwen. You need to pick the right answer to for Quiz's quiz. After you're done, wait for a daily reset and go to this place again for the next quest.
Question: What is Jinshi's job title
Answer: Magistrate of Jinzhou

A Quest of Wits - II

After the daily reset (if it didn't show up, wait until it reaches 24 hour), go back to the same spot as the previous one and answer the second question.
Question: Who do you ask for peace?
Answer: Patrol Station

A Quest of Wits - III

After another 24 hours, you can find the duo again for the last quiz.
Question: Moon hanging from the trees, where can you find blessings?
Answer: Violuna Banyan

A Taste of Everything

You will get this quest automatically if you already started the Honorary Chef: Taste of Memories Tutorial Quest.

A True Arena Champion

A True Arena Champion Side Quest is available on the shore north of Remnant Residence. Save the Exile Commoner NPC from the TD and talk to him to start the quest. This mission is surprisingly long, but all you have to do is battle, battle, and battle.

Camp Raid

The Camp Raid quest is available near the makeshift camp in Clouded Cliffs. Teleport to Resonance Nexus at the said location and there will be two NPCs. You need to wait until they stop talking before you can interact with them. After that, just continue following the quest navigation to rescue the "hostages" trapped in the camp to complete the quest.

Danger! Explosive!

You can find this quest on a small camp east of Forbidden Forest. Find Yongli that were surrounded by Explosives and use any ranged character to blow them all up. As sorry, you need to find a replacement for those explosives in another camp. Keep following the quest navigation until the end.

Just in case someone may be stumped at this part, when you can only find 2 Explosives at the Exiles camp, read the note on top of a box to continue the quest since the last Explosives are at another location.

De-Hoochief

Explosive Spear Tip Testing

You can get this quest automatically after completing the We Promise, We Deliver quest. In this quest, all you have to do is shoot the targets within the time limit.

Hero of the Leap

Hero of the Leap can be started by taking to Dashbon at the west of Jinzhou. In this quest, you need to complete multiple challenges where you need to reach the finish line using a grappling hook without landing on the ground.

Use the Sensor utility to see the route where you can find the next Grappling Hook. There are a total of 4 challenges and you can get a treasure chest after completing each challenge.

Investigate the Theft of Camp Supplies

You can find this quest at a base north of Jinzhou by talking to Beigu. The task is to find clues about who is stealing the supplies. It wasn't hard per se but when being told to find clues, some may be stumped because the location isn't too obvious.

The first clue is the heavy footsteps and the second clue is a Supply Request Form on top of a table. When choosing one suspect, I chose Wuheng and you will confront them. From then, keep following the quest navigation and you will complete the quest.

Journal of Jinzhou: Vo.1

An extremely short quest for you to take but requires some memory juice. You can start Journal of Jinzhou: Vo.1 in Jinzhou and in this quest, the female staff NPC will ask you some quiz.

First question: What is the Sentinel of Jinzhou called?
Answer: Jue

Second question: Which department of the Huaxu Academy is responsible for making Tacetite Weapons?
Answer: Department of Safety

Third question: Which of these isn't in the recipe for famous Spicy Pulled Chicken?
Answer: Caltrop

Journal of Jinzhou: Vo.2

After a daily reset, you can get the second part of the Journal of Jinzhou at another location but also in Jinzhou (at the spot above). You will get 2 questions, which are:
Q1: What's the official name for the Midnight Rangers fighting on the front lines?
A1: Vanguards
Q2: What is the official name of the "gourds" Resonatros in Huanglong all carry?
A2: Pangu Terminal

Listen to Animals' Words: Translation of Cat's Language

An extremely short quest but long name can be found in Jinzhou near the Resonance Nexus. All you have to do is to cook a Milky Fish Soup and give it to the NPC to complete the quest.

Listen to Animals' Words: Translation of Rabbit's Language

After completing the cat's part, wait for 24 hours and you can move to the facility north of Jinzhou and find Xuanyin here for the second part but with a rabbit. I accidentally found this quest a day after the previous quest so I don't know if you need to wait for daily reset or not. The quest is simple, just give her a Pearl Leaf.

Listen to Animals' Words: Translation of Dog's Language

Wait for another 24 hours and get another Animals' Words quest, which is also in Jinzhou.

Listen to Animals' Words: Translation of Fish's Language

Wait for another 24 hours to get another Animals' Words quest, but this time outside of Jinzhou city, which is near Stone Pile Plain.

Listen to Animals' Words: Translation of Frog's Language

Surprise surprise, we got another one of the animal quests, and this time it was for frogs. As usual, wait for 24 hours to get this quest near Jinzhou.

Listen to Animals' Words: Translation of Lizard's Language

I don't know how long more it would be since I skipped the dialogues, but here's another one of Animal's Words quest that you can get 24 hours after completing the previous one: Translation of Lizard's Language. You can find Xuanyin east of Lollo Warehouse.

Listen to Animals' Words: Translation of Bird's Language

Thank you to a player in our Discord server who points out this quest (since I'm done with exploration and don't want to run around solely to find more Animals' Words quests)! It's safe to assume you're gonna need to wait another 24 hours and go to this spot to get the quest. This time, you need to give Xuanyin a Star Flake.

If you don't have the recipe yet, you can buy it from Panhua at Panhua's Restaurant Owner. After that, buy some ingredients from Mahu to cook this dish. Give the Star Flake to Xuanyin and you're done!

Listen to Animals' Words: Translation of Bird's Language - Sequel

Will this be the last one? Who knows, we'll see. Anyway, this is the sequel after completing the previous' Bird's Language quest. You can find Xuanyin north of Lake Heights.

You need to use the Sensor to follow the birds. Along the quest, you will get one treasure chest. Then, the quest will end. If there's any continuation, don't hesitate to leave a comment in this post!

Lost History

Complete the Repair the Lighthouse in Desorock Highland Bay Side Quest and you will automatically get this quest after that. This quest wants you to find 5 lighthouses in Huanglong, but didn't mark it on the map so we need to find it by ourselves. Lost Ranger

This quest is discovered after completing the Grand Warstorm Main Quest (the last main quest in version 1.0) at Union Level 21 so I'm assuming it is the requirement. If it wasn't, do leave a comment about the right requirement.

Messenger

You can get this quest in an underground facility under Wenye Beach. From the Beacon there, walk a bit towards south and you will find a hole leading to the underground facility. Go in there and find Chuyi. All you have to do in this quest is to find a researcher above that facility (which is extremely near).

Misfortune on a Workday

Find the Ministry of Development Engineer in one of the containers in Gubei Pass to start Misfortune of a Workday. He will request you to escort him to a safe place in return for a treasure chest.

No Response Tonight

You can find this quest by interacting with the Broken Radio at the camp near the Settle Range. In this quest, you need to find 3 robot parts to fix the huge robot that will unlock the treasure chest. Along the way, you will also get the Shooting Party Side Quest (which is linked to this quest).
